The house was built in 1906 under the command of Ioan Clinciu, a renowned history professor. Born in 1864 in Poarta-Bran, Făgăraș county, in a poor family, he dedicated his childhood and youth to studying, facing many difficulties, detailed in his autobiography written in 1936. In 1883, he crossed the border slipping through the mountains, from Bran to Sinaia, in order to enroll in the Higher Normal School in Bucharest, where Alexandru Odobescu was director at that time. Professor Clinciu began his teaching career in 1889, when Gheorghe Lazăr was just a gymnasium that operated in the courtyard of St. Gheorghe Old church. In 1892, he founded, along with Gh. Popa-Lisseanu, his brother-in-law, Clinciu-Popa Boys Institute. This represented for 24 years one of the capital's elite educational establishments, under the French-Romanian High school. In politics, Clinciu was president of the Association of Secondary Teachers, then he became deputy and senator, first in the Conservative-Democratic party, then in the Romanian National party. Sânpetru, one of the 14 establishments founded by Saxon colonists in 1211 in Țara Bârsei, was known throughout history as Petersburg, Sant Petru or Mons Sancti Petri. Taken by the communists in 1949, the manor became a students camp, then a farm, then a school, while in the last years of the communist times it was considered to be the “private retreat of Emil Barbulescu, the nephew of Nicolae Ceausescu himself and a very important figure of the Olt county of those times. The manor was given back to the heirs of the Romano family in 1998 and since then it went through some renovations and repairs. A series of unfortunate events, such as the devastation of the royal residence in Constanța during World War 1, and the destruction caused by the fire at the Constanța Pavilion (1920), provided an auspicious setting for major modernization works in the resort. The most significant contribution was made by the royal family who, after a donation made by the Constanța Town Hall, began building a summer residence in Mamaia. The construction of the complex started in the beginning of 1924, and was based on the plans of architect Mario Stoppa and on the ideas of Queen Mary; it was finished two years and a half later. After King Ferdinand passed away (July 1927), Queen Mary donated almost the entire complex to Queen Elena (December 1927), and only kept a 3000 sqm parcel for herself. The Queen built a holiday villa on the property, close in terms of style and design to the Tehna Juva Palace in Balchik, with a minaret and an open space towards the sea. n the vineyard, the cuttings are neatly lined up in orderly rows as if they are queuing up to meet the horizon. The relief is slightly undulating, as befits a vineyard – there are gentle valleys, clay hills and low elevations, arranged naturally at random so that the grapes capture the light, store all the heat of the sun and later, in the tanks, deposit it as an offering to the yeasts in the form of sugar. That's where the magic begins, from the vineyard and the sun gathered by human hands and left to ferment in a controlled manner, in silence, in the wine cellar (the locals proudly say that there are as many cellars as there are houses in the village, or even more). The climatic and geographical conditions of the area are perfect for making good wine. Today the view cannot take in the 300 hectares of vineyards in this hilly area with a wine-growing tradition. At Pogany Dobra the vine is young, with pulsating sap, as it was planted in 2011, 2012 and 2014, therefore no replanting or additions are needed, but the extension of the vineyard is possible. A small part is cultivated with table varietals such as Black magic, Kardinal, Matilde and Victoria (approx. 2-3 ha each). There are also gleaners, presses of various capacities, pumps, filters - a whole processing line that still requires some investment. Soil analyzes and other documents can be made available to those interested, and the owners believe that the of the investment has a promising calendar, being possible in 3-4 seasons. They also base this conviction on the fact that Pogany Dobra wine is appreciated by connoisseurs, the Pogany labels being evaluated at international and local competitions (Feteasca neagra from 2015 received, for example, silver at the Concourse International de Vins, Brussels 2019).

An ensemble of historic houses located in the Jewish quarter of the Capital, more precisely on Romulus Street, which became a historical monument representative of the local cultural heritage, built for Colonel Teodor Vera, commander of the Howitzer Regiment, fighter of the Romanian army in the war for Romania's unifying 1916-1919, in the battles of Mărăști and Mărășești.
